Church Ministries

For over 150 years, First Baptist Church, Ashland has been ministering to people, regardless of their belief or denomination. If you have compassion for a "hurting" world, you can help with one of our many ministries. Here's a few:

  • our benevolence program that helps people who are struggling to pay their monthly bills
  • our food pantry that helps feed the hungry of Ashland
  • our work with C.A.R.I.T.A.S., in which we house and feed the homeless for several weeks each year
  • our community Thanksgiving Dinner, which gives the lonely and less fortunate a place to share a holiday with people who care about them

Or join one of our yearly mission trips to help people build or rebuild their lives and property - places like Louisana, Canada, Italy, Granada, and Brazil, to name a few.
